“Hydroquinone” has a long history as a skin care ingredient
“Hydroquinone” is a component that originally exists in nature.
It is contained in strawberries, blueberries, coffee, tea, malt, etc., and is said
to have the function of restoring oxidized cells to their original state
by the active oxygen generated by the plants exposed to ultraviolet rays .
Hydroquinone is a popular ingredient in Europe and the United States,
and has been useful for skin care for over 100 years.
It is an ingredient prescribed in many clinics in Japan.
AMPLEUR and "new stable hydroquinone"
Hydroquinone is difficult to handle due to its unstable nature and
prescribed only by medical institutions.
Started research on "new stable hydroquinone" that can be stably
blended in cosmetics,
and succeeded in developing a product that "blended this
epoch-making ingredient for the first time in the world".
Since 2003, we have been selling cosmetics containing "new stable
hydroquinone" and have earned the trust of us.
Difference between AMPLEUR 's "new stable hydroquinone"
and conventional hydroquinone
Hydroquinone is sensitive to heat and light, is extremely unstable, and is
difficult to handle.
"New stable hydroquinone" is a new type of molecular complex crystal
formed by synthesizing this conventional hydroquinone and the substance
"BCDAC" that stabilizes it.
While maintaining the characteristics of the ingredients, it is more resistant
to oxidation, humidity and heat than conventional hydroquinone, and
is much more stable and less irritating to the skin.
*BCDAC is a kind of surface acting agent. It surrounds hydroquinone.
New stable hydroquinone has been patch tested
In developing cosmetics containing new stable hydroquinone as the
main component,
we conducted a survey (patch test) on irritation and allergic reactions.
It has been confirmed to be gentle on the skin.
*When the increase / decrease in redness of the skin was measured for 50 monitors by the
Science and Engineering Promotion Association of the 2001 Immediate-Effect Regional Renewal
Consortium Research and Development Project, there was no example of an increase.
